Cross-Country Skiing Excellence

The extensive trail system features both classic track and skate skiing options, with daily professional grooming from December through March. Beginner-friendly loops near the chalet provide gentle introduction to Nordic skiing, while challenging backcountry routes extend throughout the 1,400-acre park. Ready for adventure? While on-site rentals aren't available, several Anchorage outdoor retailers offer cross-country ski and snowshoe equipment.
