Bosco's Comics Cards & Games

Bosco's Comics Cards & Games has been Anchorage's premier destination for comics, trading cards, and tabletop gaming since 1984, earning its self-described title of "a kaleidoscope of pop culture" over four decades as the city's go-to specialty store. The Spenard Road flagship is now the single active location after the Dimond Center branch closed in December 2025, making it the sole home of one of Alaska's most beloved hobby shops.

The comics selection spans both new weekly releases and an extensive back-issue inventory, covering superhero titles, independent publishers, graphic novels, and manga. Trading card collectors will find new and vintage sports cards (baseball, football, hockey, basketball), as well as the full spectrum of collectible card games: Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and newer entries like Disney Lorcana and Flesh and Blood. Card supplies, binders, and sleeves are stocked alongside the cards themselves.

Tabletop gaming is a serious focus. The store carries Dungeons & Dragons and other RPG systems, Warhammer 40K and strategic miniatures lines, and a deep board game selection. Regular gaming tournaments and events are posted on the website calendar, drawing competitive players and casual hobbyists alike. Special orders are available for items not on the shelves, and the store ships via its Amazon and eBay storefronts for those outside Anchorage.
