The centerpiece experience is the Iditarod Kennel Tour ($59 per person), available year-round for all ages. Lasting 90 minutes, the tour takes guests inside a genuine racing kennel to meet champion sled dogs, learn about the dogs' diet, training, and care, and hear firsthand stories from veteran Iditarod racers — gathered inside a warm, comfortable yurt on cooler days. In winter, the school offers progressively immersive experiences for those who want to go further. The Short Dog Sled Ride ($119 per person) covers a 3-mile trail in 45 minutes; the Classic Dog Sled Ride ($199 per person) spans 6 miles over 90 minutes. Night Dog Sledding ($249 per person) adds a three-hour evening adventure under Alaska's dark sky and, in season, a chance at northern lights.
