Skinny Raven Sports is Anchorage's premier locally owned running specialty store, established in 1994 and dedicated to outfitting Alaska's active community. Located on H Street near the Park Strip in downtown Anchorage, the flagship store has become the go-to destination for runners, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts across Southcentral Alaska.

The store's reputation is built on expert footwear fitting. The knowledgeable staff uses gait analysis and hands-on assessment to match customers with the right running shoe for their stride, terrain, and goals — whether training for a local 5K or a mountain ultra. The product selection spans technical running shoes from top brands including Brooks, HOKA, On, Salomon, and more, alongside a curated range of running apparel, accessories, and trail gear.

Beyond retail, Skinny Raven Sports is deeply embedded in Anchorage's running culture. The store organizes and sponsors Skinny Raven Racing, a race series that includes some of Anchorage's most beloved local events. Training groups and running clubs depart from the store regularly, making it a social hub for the city's running community year-round.
