Description

Pho Dimond serves Vietnamese food in the Dimond area — south Anchorage's commercial corridor — where Vietnamese options were previously thin. The restaurant takes its name from its Dimond Boulevard location and its core menu: pho, the aromatic Vietnamese noodle soup that accounts for most of what people order here.

The pho comes in the expected variants: beef broth with rare steak, brisket, flank, tendon, or tripe in various combinations; chicken pho; and vegetarian. The broth is long-simmered and clear, aromatic with star anise and cinnamon, served with bean sprouts, basil, lime, and chili on the side for customizing. Beyond pho, the menu covers standard Vietnamese restaurant staples: vermicelli bowls (bun), rice plates (com), banh mi, spring rolls, and stir-fried dishes. Vietnamese iced coffee and smoothies round out the beverage side.

The restaurant operates full-service with table seating at 135 W Dimond Blvd Suite 106. The south Anchorage location makes it more accessible to residents in the Dimond corridor than the Vietnamese options concentrated in midtown or downtown. Hours are broad enough to cover lunch and dinner across the week: Monday through Thursday 10 AM to 9 PM, Friday 10 AM to 10 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 10 PM, and Sunday 11 AM to 8 PM.

With 130 Yelp reviews updated as of April 2026 confirming active operation, Pho Dimond has established itself as the primary Vietnamese option in the south Anchorage corridor. For a reliable bowl of pho without driving to midtown, it fills the gap cleanly.
