Alaska Axe Co. is Alaska's first and largest indoor axe-throwing venue, bringing one of the most exciting urban entertainment trends to Anchorage in a purpose-built facility on East 68th Avenue in South Anchorage. Whether you are a first-time thrower looking for a memorable night out or a competitive group chasing high scores, Alaska Axe Co. delivers an experience that is equal parts skill, adrenaline, and good fun.

The venue features multiple dedicated throwing lanes, each set up with proper targets and enough space to throw with confidence. Trained staff walk beginners through technique and safety before the session begins, so no prior experience is needed — most newcomers are hitting the target within a few throws and are hooked by the end of the first round. For those who want to level up, the staff can introduce competition formats and scoring games that keep the energy high for the full session.

Beyond the lanes, Alaska Axe Co. has invested in making the venue a full-scale hangout. Board games, large-screen TVs, Giant Jenga, and Giant Connect 4 give groups a reason to linger before and after their throwing session. The venue's dogs are an ongoing crowd favorite. Open Tuesday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Saturday from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Closed Mondays. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are recommended for groups.
