The downtown location at 718 K St inside K Street Market is compact — expect limited seating and minimal parking. The Airport Heights location at 2520 E. 16th Ave has a bit more breathing room and includes a Little Sister Espresso counter open seven days a week. Both locations sell out of popular items regularly, so arriving early in the morning is not optional if you want the full selection.

For an Anchorage food scene that has historically struggled to support artisan businesses long-term, Fire Island is a genuine point of local pride. The fact that it has sustained two locations for over fifteen years, built entirely on craft and community loyalty rather than trend-chasing, is the proof of concept that this kind of work can survive and thrive in Alaska.
