Description

El Green-Go's started as Alaska's most celebrated food truck and in April 2026 opened its first full sit-down restaurant at 5305 E Northern Lights Blvd. Expect the same bold local-meets-Mexican-fusion flavors that earned the truck its #1 Food Truck in Alaska title, now with a 40–50 seat dining room and outdoor picnic seating.

The menu leans hard on Alaska's best ingredients: smoked salmon tacos, brisket tacos, AK fish tacos, chilaquiles, and burritos with French-technique twists. The fusion concept is genuine — the kitchen combines Mexican culinary traditions with Alaska's extraordinary seasonal ingredients. Smoked wild salmon and fresh halibut find their way into preparations that hold up to bold flavors; slow-braised brisket shows the French-influenced technique that elevates the protein above standard taco fare. Banchan-style sides and house salsas complete the experience.

El Green-Go's trajectory from food truck to brick-and-mortar runs through Alaska's food scene in recent years — mobile operations proving their concept before settling into a permanent home that can support a full dining program. The difference here is the scale of recognition: Alaska's top food truck title, earned consistently, made the restaurant a natural next step rather than a gamble on a new concept.

Order through ToastTab or walk right in. Open Sunday through Thursday 10am to 9pm and Friday–Saturday until 10pm. Located at 5305 E Northern Lights Blvd in East Anchorage.
