Summer 2026 Exhibitions

Experience Alaska's rich artistic heritage and cutting-edge science at the Anchorage Museum's exciting summer 2026 exhibitions. You'll discover three distinct shows that capture the spirit of the Last Frontier.

Everyday Anchorage: Duke Russell & Ward Wells opens May 1, showcasing stunning paintings and photography that reveal the beauty in daily Alaskan life. These artists capture moments you might walk past every day but haven't really seen.

Featured Artists & Science

Michaela Goade: Song of the Seasons presents the acclaimed Tlingit/Norwegian artist's vibrant Alaska scenes. Her work bridges indigenous traditions with contemporary artistry, creating pieces that speak to both heritage and future.

Marine Research Vessel Sikuliaq Recreation launches May 15 with interactive Arctic ecosystem science exhibits. You'll explore how scientists study Alaska's changing environment and discover what they're learning about our northern waters.
